Community Lifeline Center and Baby Booties Diaper Bank Present “Truckin’ in the Park”
MCKINNEY, Texas—May 4, 2016—Community Lifeline Center and Baby Booties Diaper Bank will hold their first Truckin’ in the Park event on Saturday, May 21st from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Truckin’ in the Park admission and activities will be free to the public.
Truckin’ in the Park will feature several specialty food and beverage trucks from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Parents are encouraged to bring their children, as there will be bounce houses, a fun bus, arts and crafts, and special character appearances. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle and silent auction for a variety of exciting prizes. Community Lifeline and Baby Booties will collect food and diaper donations as well.
“Truckin’ in the Park is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come out and enjoy the festivities while supporting two great causes,” said Community Lifeline’s Executive Director, Brian Marques. Community Lifeline Center and Baby Booties Diaper Bank provide basic needs to those experiencing hardship in the community.
Community Lifeline Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides financial assistance, food, free education programs, and information and referral services for residents of McKinney and north Collin County.
