Community Lifeline Center is an organization that can help your family during a crisis caused by a job loss, unexpected medical bills or something else. CLC helps with basic needs to prevent long-term crises.

If you live in our service area and have documents showing your crisis, you may be eligible to receive Lifeline Market food, financial assistance for rent or financial aid for utilities. Financial assistance depends on the donations we receive.

The cities in our service area are Altoga, Anna, Blue Ridge, Celina, Copeville, Farmersville, Josephine, Lavon, Lowry Crossing, McKinney, Melissa, Nevada, New Hope, Princeton, Prosper, Westminster and Weston.

 

A documented crisis is an unexpected event that has documentation. This event has created an immediate need and has not been caused by anyone. CLC financial assistance is not an income supplement or a pension or automatic benefit program. Please note that changes in temporary or seasonal employment are not considered unexpected.
CLC offers help with life needs that may include:

• Accommodation
• Services
• Medical expenses
• Food
• Hygiene and household items

Useful information to complete the application
To receive assistance, you need to provide the documents in your name that prove the loss of income. If you think you qualify, you can request assistance by completing the forms below. Choose the type of assistance you are requesting and complete all the required sections before submitting.

Required documents with the application are :

  • ID with photo
  • The social security numbers of all the people who live with you
  • The documentation of the crisis (for example, a notice of dismissal)
  • The receipt or the thing with which you need assistance

When the application is submitted and the documentation is received by our office, your case will be examined and we will contact you. If you have not received notification within five business days, please log in to your account system to see the status of the application or call us at 972.542.0020.
