Sack Summer Hunger

Sign Up Today

For parents and children that rely on free and reduced school meals, it can be difficult to afford enough food to feed the whole family during the summer.

Sack Summer Hunger (SSH) is a free summer meal program for McKinney ISD children who receive free and reduced lunch during the school year and need additional assistance during the summer. We’ll provide weekly food distributions to help feed these children during summer break starting June 27th.

While we appreciate in-kind donations in our regular pantry, we are unable to accept food donations for the SSH 2020 program. Ordering via our retail and North Texas Food Bank partnerships allows us to maintain inventory and ensure each child is receiving the same food to the extent possible. This program relies on a set menu that is coordinated in advance. If you would like to provide a financial gift, please visit here.
