Welcome to the Community Lifeline Center, Inc.

For over 19 years, the Community Lifeline Center has assisted families in McKinney and northern Collin County with crisis support services.  Support services include financial assistance for rent and mortgage, medical and dental expenses, utilities, and prescriptions.  The Center also collects and distributes holiday food baskets, back to school supplies, and Christmas toys for children.

Mission — Our mission is to improve the well being of people by providing crisis support services.

Each month, an average of 400 families either phone or come in person to the office of the Center seeking assistance.  The average income for a family of four served by the Community Lifeline Center is less than $800 per month.

The majority of clients served by the Center are employed, but are usually below national poverty guidelines.  The Community Lifeline Center does not assist people who are chronically unemployed and make no effort to help themselves.

The Community Lifeline Center provides *Emergency Assistance only.  The focus of the Center's programs is to get clients and families to become self-supporting as quickly as possible.

Office hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday. We're proud to announce Christine Hockin-Boyd as the new Executive Director and Glendy as her assistant!.
