Whether starting a new monthly donation, or giving any amount, you ensure we can feed more families in our pantry, distribute more food at our mobile food distributions, and fund our utility and rent programs.

Other ways to contribute

When donating funds is not an option, or if you want to expand upon your existing gifts, there are plenty of options. Community Lifeline Center can accept donations of food, property like cars, and even stocks.

Donating Food

Community Lifeline Center is glad to accept donations of food. Please note that we cannot accept donations of expired or opened food/household items. Food can be donated in person at our McKinney pantry.

Donating A Car

We have partnered with Charitable Adult Rides & Services, or CARS, to accept vehicle donations. CARS has some requirements, but can offer free pickup across the US for qualifying donations

While Shopping

One of the easiest ways to give back! Associate your "Tom Thumb for U" and "Kroger Rewards" accounts to donate while you shop.

Sign into your account and add 'Community Lifeline Center' as your donation partner. You can also search by our id, IV671.

Send an email to Good.Neighbor@TomThumb.com and ask them to link your account to CLC with our Good Neighbor Number, 14244. Be sure to include the phone-number related to your account.

Estates & Stocks

Many of our dedicated donors generously decide to include us in their estate planning. In addition to other gifts, we are able to receive money and physical assets gifted to us through trusts and wills. We are also able to accept donations of stocks and can share our brokerage information upon request. As these gifts often require a conversation prior to receipt, we do ask that you schedule a meeting with our executive director.
